The rains have started again in Portland. All is as it should be, I suppose.

I have a soft spot for squirrels, despite their reputation of being simple tree rats. This one came right up to me today, sitting at my feet.
And then I noticed that she may have just had babies or may be pregnant? Not sure, so I put a bunch of peanuts out for her.

Portland is full of amazing front porches. This one is one of my favorites. It was all I could do to keep myself from knocking on the front door and asking for some lemonade.

Portland is also full of shops selling strong coffee and tasty pie. This one is rhubarb, my favorite.

Portlanders like to decorate for Halloween.

And decorate their dogs for the Rose Festival Kiddie Parade.

This photo is blurry due to my being in a moving car as I took it. Right as I got the window down and camera ready, the light turned, and we had to go. I'm intrigued by the handprint though. Keep Portland Weird.
