Early Fall

So it starts:

Everyone is out around 6pm, taking in the last hour or so of daylight, knowing soon that it's going to get gray and dreary fast:

Forgotten Cable

We're out of town, and though I am still taking photos daily, I forgot the transfer cable (like usual), so all I can post now is one from a series shot this afternoon thanks to photobooth on our mac. Real photos should commence in a few days...

Sunny Day, part 2

Yesterday turned out to be a great day for photo-taking. Another photo-blogger made the point that it is easier for him to take a couple of days a week to shoot lots of photos instead of trying to do one a day. I agree. So here are some more from yesterday's glorious day.

Our cat contemplates that recent frolic in the dirt.

I love how the sun makes these tiny flowers glow.

Many people were soaking it in at Laurelhurst Park. I love how the sun brings out the many things floating in the air. Nothing says 'summer' quite like that to me.

This guy discovered the joy of sliding, in this shot using "the Autumn effect" (thanks, Autumn!)

Trolley

While waiting at Saturday Market for MAX train to take us up a few blocks, we lucked up and got to hop on the trolley. If you see it coming, I recommend it. What a beautiful way to travel.
